Dallas is home to a lot of famous margaritas, including the worlds first frozen margarita machine, but which one is the best? Well, that's just what the Margarita Meltdown is looking to find out on May 26th!
The delicious event will be located at 1701 N Market St from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 to $30 for general admission that includes sampling of over 50 different margaritas from various local favorite restaurants. There are also Speed Pass tickets for priority entry, a swag bag and to skip all lines at the fest. You will get a voting card and the winner of Dallas' best margarita will be announced at 8:45 p.m.
At the event, you will be able to try the margaritas from the Dallas Margarita Mile as well as some of the unique margs. One of the margs you might find at the festival is the Chamoyada-rita from Urban Taco which is a margarita with Chamoy for the perfect added sweet and spice.
Another margarita you'll want to try is the Paleta-rita from El Ranchito which features the tasty flavors of a classic ice pop and the original size of it is massive.
If you're a fan of sangria you will be able to find something just for you with El Fenix's Swirl Margarita. The margarita is their house margarita frozen and infused with sangria.
Y.O. stake house will also be bringing a margarita this one will contain blanco tequila, prickly pear puree, agave and lime. The beverage is appropriately named the Prickly Pear Margarita.
