Sandwiches and salads are the quickest and easiest lunch items known to man. These popular dishes can be constructed in a million different creative ways. Most salad and sandwich shops stick to the tried and true flavor combinations but not this new popular Californian restaurant coming to Dallas soon. Mendocino Farms created an atmosphere and menu loved by all of our friends in the West and now, Dallas will be getting their very own on March 11th.
The sandwich shop first opened in Los Angeles, California in 2005, capturing the hearts of the public so much that they expanded all across California and eventually into different states.
The first locations to open in Texas were Houston but with a widely diverse foodie scene, we all know that Dallas is one of the first spots on everyone's radar when it comes to restaurant openings.
The menu items consist of many traditional elements but also nice, delicious twists.
The most popular dishes are their “Not So Fried” Chicken sandwich with shaved, crunchy roasted chicken breast and herb aioli along with The Farm Club with smashed avocado.
Their salads include a variety of fruity and vibrant salads like the Pink Lady along with protein-filled, nutritious salads like the Sophisticated Chicken and Proscuitto salad.
The menu does carry some seasonal items as well based on the availability of in-season ingredients.
The aesthetic, similar to their menu, is elevated, fresh and simple.
Bright blue accents and white tiled flooring really makes a bright, light space for everyone to want to enjoy a nice lunch break here.
The grand opening for the downtown Dallas location will be on March 11 at 11 a.m.
Come hungry and definitely leave happy!
