Most Americans don't get to travel the world in their lifetime, which is extremely unfortunate. Often times people are content with simply traveling around the United States, but wanderlust has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it. Fortunately, Dallas is having their annual North Texas Irish Festival this spring to celebrate the Irish culture and experience a piece of Europe Texans wouldn't get to otherwise!
This year's festival will take place from Thursday, March 6 until Saturday, March 8.
On Thursday, the fest will be open from 6 to 11 p.m., on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
You'll be able to enjoy authentic Irish food, watch performances, enjoy tons of booze, and more!
Prices for tickets are currently TBA, as well as vendors, but we should know more soon.
We recommend keeping an eye out on their official Facebook event page as well as their website, as they'll be constantly updating it leading up to the event.
We're still a few months out after all, but you can't blame us for being excited!
Photos of this event from past years truly don't do it justice.
If you think celebrating other cultures is as important as we do, then this isn't the only festival in Texas you're going to enjoy.
Canales told KVUE News that he believes the state is behind on technology, and it's time to start taking steps in order to "prepare for the future."
If the bill is approved, the Texas Department of Public Safety would be required to start the pilot program no later than February 1, 2022.
Texas would not be the first state to dive into the world of digital identification, as Colorado currently offers an app to its residents that allows them to create an electronic version of their driver's license or state-issued ID card.
The experience will throw you into Van Gogh's historic paintings via 500,000 cubic feet of projections that are set to an incredible classical score, making it an art show that is quite unlike anything else.
Paintings that will be brought to life include "The Potato Eaters," "Starry Night," "Sunflowers," "The Bedroom," and many more.
Tickets are on sale now but they are selling out fast, as June is already almost completely sold out.
