Pop culture has a way of bringing people together through not only shared interests but also amazing cosplay. There is no better way to nerd out than with a massive and totally free Comic-Con. The Texas Latino Comic Con is back in Dallas on July 27th at the Latino Cultural Center. While the event is centered around Latinos in comics, everyone is more than welcome to join in the fun for this awesome event.
Some of the featured guests for this year include Javier Hernandez and Dianita Ceron. Visitors are encouraged to dress as their favorite comic book or movie character and photos are allowed. There will be cosplay contests and panels, and this year, they will host a new special contest that is dedicated to picking the best Latino character cosplay. To make things even better, La Vecindad del Chavo will also be there to help you relive your childhood dreams.
There will also be an Artist Alley for those interested in buying some awesome nerdy stuff where you can meet several local artists. Panels hosted by incredible artists can also be expected as well as some workshops for those looking to improve their own work.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and there will be plenty of food and drinks for purchase on sight. Their special guests will be announced closer to the time of the event but regardless of who will be there, the Comic-Con will surely be tons of fun.
