Fort Worth Is Hosting Its First-Ever Pizza Festival This May

There is a first time for everything in life, and when it comes to food festivals, Texans are always more than ready to welcome new delicious experiences in their lives. If you love pizza more than anything in this world, the first-ever Fort Worth pizza festival will be the gathering place of choice for all cheese lovers this May. Are you ready?

On May 17, you will be able to devour pizza slices from the city's best pizza parlors, food trucks, and tasty vendors.

Get ready to try the cheese-filled Italian classic in all of its known forms and with all the toppings you can imagine. It's going to be epically good.

This is the first time this festival is being celebrated in Fort Worth and the official venue will be the beloved playground bar The Yard. Besides the great food, you will enjoy live shows and music performances.

To pair with your yummy and greasy slices, you can choose among a variety of draft beers and wines from the beer and wine garden designed for people 21 and older.

Soft beverages will also be available for non-drinkers and children.

Speaking of the little ones, there will also be a kid's bouncing area to keep the children entertained.

The general admission ticket for this delicious festival is $10 for adults and only $7 for kids between the ages of 8 and 15, so grab yours while they last.

In addition to all the yummy food that the vendors and parlors will be offering, the festival-goers will be able to partake in pizza baking demos by some locally known pizza chefs.

The chefs will be showing off some unique baking techniques, so don't miss out on seeing this. They will also be showcasing the Pizza Of The Year.

When you're done eating and sipping, you can enjoy the live shows. For this premiere festival, the organizers have prepared a magician, a drumline, and a belly dancer to entertain the attendees. Get ready for some fun!

Another great way to amuse yourself will be the pizza eating contests.

You can watch the competitive eaters take home some cash and prizes by chowing down tons of pizza slices.

Or you can give it a shot if you have a big appetite. Either way, the experience will be memorable.
