These Talented Dallas Foodies Are Offering Free Live Cooking Classes Right Now

You can learn how to make quiche and "quarantinis."

With all of this extra time on our hands, the urge to pick up new hobbies is stronger than ever, though our options are somewhat limited. Whether you're extremely experienced in the kitchen or get takeout for every meal, you can never go wrong with taking a free cooking class. Cooking classes from Dallas foodies are being offered right now, and you have the choice between following along while they're going live, or taking a stab at it during your free time.

If you're not sure what you want to cook just yet, don't worry, there are plenty of options to choose from as far as classes go.

Modern Filipino Kitchen, Stephanie Leichtle-Chalklen, Joe the Baker, and Uno Immanivong are all trying their hands at live cooking classes so that you can try your hands at their recipes.

Modern Filipino Kitchen offers free classes on IGTV where she goes live and later posts what she shared with her viewers. "Chicken Adobo" and "Arroz Caldo" are two recipes she has uploaded right now.

Stephanie Leichtle-Chalklen specializes in sourdough, her next class being on April 11. Her classes are donation-based and you can visit her Instagram to sign up.

If you're in the mood for a dessert or a drink, don't worry, those are coming up next!

Joe the Baker is your man if you want to take on the challenge of baking. He has his schedule posted on his Facebook where you can find all of his old and new videos.

Check out his list of scheduled cooking tutorials and plan your ingredients accordingly!

Uno Immanivong does it all, from recipes she uses at Red Stix Asian Street Food to "quarantinis" to get a little boozy after a long day working from home. You really can't go wrong watching her live on Facebook!

Learning a new recipe is not only educational, but it's a fun activity for you and whoever else you're stuck at home with.

We know we'll be giving one or all of these a try!
