When it comes to holiday celebrations, North Texas is a pretty great place to spend some time. While we have tons of grand winter celebrations, a new snowy winter wonderland in Frisco is popping up on November 29. Dust off your favorite winter mittens and earmuffs ready because it's going to be snowing in DFW!
The new attraction is set to have a giant snow pit, a massive light maze, and a Candyland-themed interactive experience. But that's just the start; the wonderland is set to be extensive with fun events for everyone to enjoy. You'll forget you're in sunny Texas when you head over to this snow-filled winter wonderland.
One of the coolest things you might run into is a 30-foot Christmas tree made of all lights. In the Fairyland portion, you'll find a winemaking class. You'll be able to participate in interactive virtual tours that will take you to lands unknown.
There are going to be so many awesome treats that you'll be able to purchase at this amazing wonderland. Food trucks will be stationed all around, offering warm treats and vegan eats for all to enjoy. Jumping into the snow pit will give you a chance to experience snow even when it might not be the ideal weather for snow in Texas.
Don't forget your I.D. because there is an adult-only bar that will feature angry elves, specialty cocktails, and live performances. Tickets to this wonderland are around $16 and are on sale now.
For more winter fun, you can check out Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth that's turning into a massive ice skating rink. You can also see how Texans reacted to six inches of snow in the Texas panhandle.
