A Harry Potter Festival Is Coming To West Texas This Fall With Wizardly-Themed Drinks

When it comes to wizard themed events, nothing beats a good party and the biggest party ever is coming to Lubbock. On November 10, Wizard Fest is taking over and we just can't wait! The Harry Potter-themed party in Lubbock will have everything you need for the perfect magical night.

The event will feature a DJ that will play all of your favorite Harry Potter songs remixed. Cosplay is not mandatory but it is welcome and who knows, it might help you remember all the facts from the movie when playing in a trivia game.

You will also be able to participate in their Tri-Wizard tournament. There will be a costume contest and you can enter your name in the Goblet of Fire. If your name is drawn from the goblet, you could win a trip for two to London and live out all your Harry Potter dreams.  But the fun doesn't stop there; for those who are 21+, you will have an actual Leaky Cauldron to go to. The bar will serve delicious Harry Potter themed drinks like Butterbeer and Polyjuice Potions.

Tickets for this amazing party start at just $16 per person and work their way up to about $80. The pricier tickets include things like Harry Potter wands and goodie bags. You'll be able to enter the event from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. with general admission but some tickets do offer early entry.

If you happen to be traveling but don't want to miss all the fun, you can check out other Texas cities that will be hosting the party as well.

This Magical wizard party will take place at Jake's Backroom located at 5025 50th St #A Lubbock, TX. For tickets and more information on the event, you can visit the website here.
