Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday that waterparks would be one of the newest additions to the list of businesses able to reopen in Texas. That means that you could be spending summer 2020 at some of your favorite waterparks, but it's up to each individual park whether or not they will reopen. Hawaiian Falls, a favorite among North Texans, is one water park reopening this Friday just in time for summer.
Hawaiian Falls announced on Tuesday, following Abbott's announcement, that they're "back" starting this Friday at their Roanoke, Mansfield, and Waco parks.
Their website says the Garland and The Colony locations will open on June 5 and June 4, respectively.
Season pass prices for their Waco park typically run $69.99 a pop, whereas their Roanoke and Mansfield park season pass prices run $99.99 apiece.
Right now, however, they're having a special deal on their tickets where you can get them for a discounted price of $49.99 and $59.99 respectively.
Save some money now and splurge on a new bathing suit that's perfect for showing off during a day in the water.
According to the park's Instagram, you can visit their website to learn about their new hours of operation as well as procedures they'll be following during this time.
Despite a change in hours, guests will still be able to enjoy their favorite rides or enjoy some soon-to-be favorites for the first time.
Get your sunscreen ready if you choose to stop by your closest park this sunny season.
With discounted deals, new hours, and safety procedures, Hawaiian Falls is sure to make a splash in tourism this summer.
