Anybody can go to a rock climbing wall and test their abilities out, but none of those indoor walls have a view as amazing as this one. Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway Near Fort Worth is the perfect place for some outdoor exploration and it gives you a chance to have the coolest outdoor rock climbing experience ever.

The park is one of the few places in North Texas where you can go climb and rappel on natural rock. The area is so beautiful and completely natural, giving visitors an experience like no other. To preserve the park, climbers can only use a rope when climbing which means no bolts or pitons. Everyone who wishes to participate must be 17 years or older and has to check in at the park's headquarters before tackling the giant rock formations.

Climbing may be the most notable thing to do, but it isn't the only thing there is for visitors to enjoy. The park offers visitors a chance to fish, camp, and explore the parks entire 13 miles. They also allow you to swim in the stunning lake or you can go up to one of their hidden lookout spots to get a one-of-a-kind view of the entire park.

The park charges a daily $7 entry fee for you to enter the area. When at the lake, you can rent a boat to explore all of the lakes 640-acres of pure beauty. You don't need a fishing license at this park, so you're free to bring your own equipment and relax.
