Thrilling rides are an evergreen adventure. Most local theme parks are having seasonal events but not all of them can thrill you as much as Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. The massive park is having a holiday extravaganza starting November 23 and running through January 5.
The park will have all the same exciting rides you've been waiting to get on plus a ton of holiday magic. You'll be able to sit by a campfire and make some s'mores while taking a little break from all the rides. Now this is proper theme park weather, where you won't be sweating and burning up the whole time.
The exhilarating rides at Six Flags will be the same but this time they will have tons of twinkling lights you can visit during the night. The park usually closes at 8 p.m. but for the holiday season, they are staying open until 10 p.m.
You can also stop by for some Christmas inspired funnel cakes, yum!
There will be three designated photo stations. One of them lets you kiss your significant other under the mistletoe, the other has you posing with the historic 1925 fire truck, and the last one is with Santa.
If you're looking for a little Christmas cheer, you can stop by their 60-foot tall tree. Of course, one tree isn't enough, so the park has 72 Christmas trees around the park all with their own themes and decor.
While you wait for this holiday utopia to come around, check out the world's largest indoor Christmas tree at the Galleria Mall in Dallas where you can ice skate around the tree all day long.
