Texas has so many amazing places to explore and this lake should be at the top of your list. Lake Whitney in Whitney, Texas has cliffs that offer the most picturesque views of the stunning blue water below them.
This super Instagramable lake is the perfect place to swim and spend a sunny day out this summer. Most of their trails lead to a number of cliffs that surround the water so even if you're just going for a hike, the trip is well worth the view.

Camping at the lake starts at just $14 and works its way up to about $25 a night depending on if you're pitching a regular tent or an RV. All of their trails are open to hikers and bikers so you can feel free to bring any sports equipment along with you.
The daily entrance fee for the park is just $5 per person and their gates are open every day of the week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They often reach capacity so it's best to make a reservation in advance.
