You can always find a wild adventure at the zoo. There are so many animals to see, feed, and sometimes event pet. But visiting the zoo is so much better when you only have to pay a fraction of the price to get it. Thankfully, the Dallas Zoo is having Dollar Day July 18 where most everything, including entry, is just one single dollar. The dollar deals will be spread throughout the zoo which means no matter what you're planning to look at, you'll find something at a great price.
Some of the things that are going to be $1 include hot dogs, chips, water, and sodas. You will be able to enjoy feeding birds for just $1 and you can feel giraffes for a discount of just $5 on that day. There will be $10 limited parking for those who happen to get there early enough to snag the deal.
Visitors will also have access to the dinosaur exhibit that is currently on display which features robotic dinos. There will be several shows and demonstrations like DinoSOAR wildlife show, animal encounters begin at 10 a.m, and zoologist presentations. The zoo will probably get a little busy that day so we suggest getting there early to enjoy a day of fun.
The Dallas Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week. You can also take the DART redline straight to the zoo if you don't feel like driving or paying for parking.
