DFW has no shortage of amazing and unique donuts but a new shop is coming this winter to claim your taste buds. The Salty Donut recently announced that it will be making its way to DFW. The shop is originally from Miami and this is their first shop outside of the state. The shop will be coming to the Bishop Arts District, bringing all of their creative donuts with them.
The Dallas shop will have some of the classic Miami flavors but they will also start creating special Dallas donuts. One of the donuts you might see is the Brown Butter Salt donut or you might try out their White Chocolate Tres Leches which are topped with torched meringue. The shop has seasonal donuts like Cookies and Creme or Dragon Passionfruit as well. Dallas flavors will be based on local products from Texas, making them truly iconic. Their drinks are also out of this world with flavors like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and even a seasonal Japanese iced coffee.
Treats at this shop vary in prices ranging from around $2 to $6 depending on what you decide to get. The shop often has limited time donuts that are special to each shop. Some of them have delicious fillings such as mango or even cheesecake.
The exact location and opening date have not yet been disclosed yet but we hope they will be sooner rather than later. While Dallas is the only Texas location opening up, for now, we hope they will be expanding all over the state soon.
