It's never to early to start getting ready for Halloween. Most of the spooky time activities are coming to the metroplex soon and we are beyond excited. One of the best and spookiest things DFW has to offer is Cutting Edge Haunted House. This Fort Worth haunted house was named one of the largest in the world.
The house is literally located inside an abandoned meat factory. Cutting Edge has won tons of awards over the years and they just keep getting better. This year the house will open on September 28. You'll find the house to have several themes so if one room doesn't get your heart racing, another spooky one surely will. This is a multi-story house that is located on what is known to locals as "Hell's Half Acre." As a small tribute to the meat factory that was there before them, the house has a very realistic human meat packaging area.
Another popular attraction at the house is their "live video game," Zombie Apocolypse. You and your friends will be chased by Zombies and you can shoot down and try to escape from. The official date for the apocalypse hasn't been set yet but we hope it will be very soon.
General Admission to the house is around $30 and pre-sale start this Friday, August 23 at noon. If you're looking for a slightly less scary way to pass the time, you can check out this awesome art pop up that has tons of glowing pumpkins.
Cutting Edge Haunted House is located at 1701 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76102. To get tickets and for more information on this terrifying house, you can visit their website here.
