Any Canadians in BC, Saskatchewan, and Alberta who might be craving a really good chicken sandwich should consider heading to Carl’s Jr. Why? Because right now, Carl’s Jr. Canada is having a Black Friday event of their own. Canadians who visit the fast-food joint and order the newest chicken sandwich can pay whatever they want for it.

From November 29 through December 8, Carl's Jr. will be offering its Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken Fillet Sandwich for whatever customers think it should be worth.

"We're so proud of the quality of our new premium chicken fillet sandwich," Adrianne Largo, Sr. Country Director for Carl's Jr. Canada said in a press release, "we're putting our money where our mouth is and inviting Western Canadians to tell us what they think our sandwiches are worth, as they break from their Black Friday deal hunting."

Customers can choose if they want to pay $3, $5, $7 or $9 for the new sandwich, which features hand-breaded, buttermilk-dipped Canadian chicken, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato, all stacked together on a brioche bun.

While some fast food restaurants in Canada have offered plant-based chicken, including both KFC and A&W, this Carl's Jr. sandwich is the real thing.

"We believe that our quality and taste is unmatched in the category and we're excited to see what customers will pay for a better quality fast food chicken sandwich by naming their price," Largo Sr. said.

Carl's Jr. Canada also announced that they would be opening their own pop-up shop on Etsy to promote the handmade quality of its food. More details on the shop will be shared through Carl's Jr.'s social media accounts.

Once the promotional period ends, the sandwich will have a suggested retail price of $7.49. Of course, depending on the location, that could change as well. Carl's Jr currently operates 23 restaurants in western Canada.

The deal will operate in BC, Alberta, & Saskatchewan.
