You can wander the bookstore again! Indigo reopening is happening across Canada with increased health and safety measures in place. Plus, in-store deals are already starting.

Slowly but surely, the Canadian retailer is letting people in again to wander aisles, browse books, smell candles and pick out cute mugs.

Indigo told Narcity that the reopenings are happening in phases once local governments all over the country give the green light and safety measures are put in place.

Currently, more than 130 stores across Canada are open and ready for customers.

However, as locations let people in once again, there will be some new aspects to the shopping experience.

That includes limiting store capacity to ensure physical distancing, enhancing cleaning protocols, offer hand sanitizer in-store, contactless pay methods and having protective shields at cash registers.

Employees will also wear face masks and people are encouraged to do the same when they come in.

Even though stores haven't been open for that long, deals are already starting.

You can get 30% off outdoor living essentials both in-store and online until July 8.

So as the weather gets nicer, you can liven up your outdoor spaces to make being at home even better.

When it comes to outdoor living, Indigo has so much to offer as part of this deal.

There are outdoor pillows, string lights for your patio or balcony, picnic blankets and lanterns.

You can also get outdoor games like darts, horseshoe toss and giant snakes and ladders.

Even if you're just having dinner for one outside in your backyard or balcony, there are cute tropical pattern dinner plates and stemless wine glasses to give your meal major summer vibes.

Though stores are reopening across the country, there are still a bunch of online deals for you to take advantage of if you don't want to go out.

That includes 25% off agendas and calendars, 50% off home tech essentials, 25% off historical fiction and so much more.

You can check online if the Indigo store near you has opened yet.
