Coffee lovers unite! We've got a great deal for you on National Coffee Day. McDonald's National Coffee Day in Canada means free coffee and that's something to celebrate.

On September 29, a.k.a. National Coffee Day, McDonald's Canada is offering Canadians free coffee to celebrate the glorious day.

The offer is only available if you order through the My McD's app and it's for one day only so take advantage while you can and get that free caffeine hit.

After you place an order of at least 50 cents you'll get a premium roast McCafé coffee in any size for free.

McDonald's isn't the only fast-food retailer vying for your business on National Coffee Day. Tim Horton's is also giving away free coffee to its Tim Rewards members who order through the mobile app.

Purchase something for 50 cents or more on September 28 or 29 and you'll get a free reward. The reward will appear in your app after your purchase.

With the McDonald's free coffee deal, there's a limit of one per customer and you can't get this deal with McDelivery. So unfortunately you'll actually have to pick up your order at your local McDonald's instead of having it delivered to your door.

The promotion is also running at participating locations which excludes Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
