Calling all hockey fans! Your social distancing just got a whole lot more interesting. Starting on March 20, you’ll be able to binge-stream all of the best moments from this season’s NHL, and it will be totally free. NHL Live’s free trial will only last until the end of April, but it’s the perfect way to get your hockey fix!

If you’ve been missing the NHL while it's on hiatus, there’s finally some good news in store.

For one whole month, between March 20 and April 30, Sportsnet will be offering a special subscription to NHL Live, for free!

The service, which usually costs $29.99 per month, provides on-demand access to live and archived games, special clips and exclusive content.

According to Rogers, NHL Live is for “die-hard” hockey fans, as it provides access to more than 1,000 games. This includes all outdoor games, the All-Star Game, and games that do not appear on television.

You can even relive some of the biggest moments of the 2019-2020 season, including the 2019 NHL Heritage Classic and the 2020 NHL Winter Classic.

Social distancing just got a whole lot more Canadian!

The best part is, a credit card is not required for registration, so you don’t need to worry about remembering to cancel the account at a later date.

To make an account, all you have to do is head to the website's homepage on Friday, March 20. To register, you'll simply need an email and a password. Easy!

NHL Live is accessible on internet browsers, through the NHL app, and through supported online devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, PS4 and Xbox One.

The special offer comes as the NHL season was formally suspended, due to concerns related to COVID-19 in Canada and the U.S.

Earlier this week, an Ottawa Senators player became the first person in the NHL to be diagnosed with the virus. The athlete is yet to be identified.

Despite concerns about finishing the scheduled games, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman remains hopeful that the season will be able to finish as normal, simply at a later date.

Until then, you can get your hockey fix by signing up to NHL Live on Friday.

While it's not quite the same, it's definitely better than no hockey at all.

We'll get through this Canada ... One repeat at a time!
