If you've been itching to go on vacation but are waiting for a sale Air Canada has just the deal for you. Air Canada is celebrating the start of the NHL season in the best way. The Air Canada NHL sale is on now, but for two days only so figure out your travel plans quickly.  

Air Canada is the official airline of all seven Canadian NHL teams and to join in on the opening day festivities, the airline is offering Canadians a two-day sale. So you better act fast because the sale ends tomorrow, October 3. 

The deal is a seat sale, which means that you'll get 15% off all base fares to anywhere in the world with the promotional code GNM43YN1. 

"Air Canada takes enormous pride in supporting our country's teams," said Andrew Shibata, managing director of brand at Air Canada, in a press release

To take advantage of this deal either today or tomorrow, go to Air Canada's website to look for flights to your preferred destination. You have to book the flight by end of day on October 3 and your trip has to have travel dates between October 2 and April 30, 2020. 

The NHL season officially starts tonight and the regular season will last until April 4. Each team will play 82 games during the regular season. 

Two of the opening matches tonight are all-Canadian. The Toronto Maple Leafs will face the Ottawa Senators in Toronto and the Edmonton Oilers will play the Vancouver Canucks in Edmonton. 

The sale isn't the only way Air Canada is celebrating the start of the NHL season. 

Air Canada is bringing back the Fan Flight which runs all season long and rewards fans with a VIP game experience.
