Black Friday is coming, and there’s no time like the present to start getting prepared for all of the madness that is Black Friday weekend. With huge savings available both online and in stores, it’s the perfect opportunity to get started with your festive holiday shopping. If you’re a Black Friday newbie, or if you just want to get ahead of the game, Walmart Canada's Black Friday hacks have been revealed and they’ll help you to make the most of this mega-sales weekend!

For many people, Black Friday is the only day of the year that they’ll go all-out with their spending, especially as it’s so close to Christmas. With some of the biggest savings of the whole year, it’s an ideal opportunity to get your hands on those usually unaffordable items that are on your to-buy list.

In particular, Black Friday is a great time to shop for electronics, electrical appliances and pretty-much anything that usually costs the mega-bucks, and stores like Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart have some of the biggest savings in Canada.

Unsurprisingly, Black Friday is pretty manic, and hundreds of thousands of people do whatever they can to get their hands on the limited deals. While shopping in store is usually the craziest, it can get pretty stressful just shopping online too.

To help ease the pressure, Walmart Canada has revealed a series of tips and tricks to ‘hack’ Black Friday, and one of them is especially useful for the more organized, pre-planners among us.

The first mega-tip that comes from Walmart Canada is to get prepared as early as possible. They advise making a list of everything that you’re going to be looking for on November 29, and writing them down in order of how badly you want them.

They also recommend signing up for emails ASAP, as special offers and Black Friday exclusive savings are sent to subscribers in the days and weeks prior to the big event. If you want to be the first to know about a company’s biggest and best offers, it might be worth signing up.

Perhaps the best tip that Walmart Canada has given their customers for Black Friday, is to put all of the items you want to buy on the day in your online basket beforehand. That way, you won’t have to find all of the items on the morning of sale-day, instead, you can just head straight to the checkout with your new bargains.

It’s worth noting, however, that some companies constantly refresh their customers’ baskets, so this might not be a hack to try on all websites!

Walmart also recommends setting yourself a budget for Black Friday weekend, as it’s easy to be overwhelmed with all of the discounts and completely over-spend.

On that note, if you’re prone to overspending or changing your mind, remember to keep hold of all of your receipts - that way you can return things if you need to.

Black Friday kicks-off on Friday, November 29, 2019. That said, many companies are getting things started early and are already offering discounts.

Deals start early on Walmart.ca on November 28 at 9pm EST. More info can be found here.
