When it comes to saving money, it doesn't get much better than free — and hey, we're here for it. Later this month Smithsonian Magazine's 14th Annual Museum Day will offer FREE one-day admission to a variety of museums in the U.S.

1455 museums are already confirmed to be participating across the country, with more to potentially be added the closer we get to Museum Day; luckily for us Floridians, we have plenty in Sunshine State too. Many museums have already signed up for the event in Florida — 93 to be exact. Heck to the yes!

Whether you love art, history, science, and space, or even zoos and animals, this is your chance to visit any of the participating locations for free.

The list includes some pretty awesome places too, including Bok Tower Gardens, that has gorgeous gardens with an ornate singing tower that is pretty romantic. It kind of feels like a real-life tropical Middle Earth.

The list also includes the allegedly haunted St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum.

The historic Lightner Museum, also on the list, feels like a little chunk of Spain, and you can even see whimsical glass art at St. Pete's Imagine Museum.

Each free ticket includes general admission for two guests on Sept. 21. The best part? That's a Saturday. The perfect excuse to plan a little date night on the cheap.

Whether you have a spark of curiosity to explore a random museum, are an art aficionado with a happy place that's on the list, or want to scour through space and science - you can do it all for free on Museum Day.

An overview of the event's details can be found below.
