Let's face it: one of the hardest things about the holidays is cooking a big meal for your family, one that usually includes that most common of holiday birds, turkey. Luckily, those who don't feel like cooking can find their solution with Denny's Canada's turkey dinner, which is now the holiday menu.
The traditional meal for four comes with everything you'd want in a home-cooked holiday feast: turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, a choice of corn or broccoli, and of course, gravy.
Altogether, the meal deal costs $59.99 (plus tax). That's not too bad at all, considering this is a meal that can feed four people. Besides, think about the time and effort you save by not making (and possibly ruining) your own turkey dinner.
Of course, just like a holiday meal you make at home, this one does require some planning in advance. You have to order the meal a day ahead of time for pick up.
You also pick it up cold and reheat it at home, so you might want to account for that as well when planning what time to eat dinner. No matter what, though, it will still take less time than cooking from scratch.
However, you may be the kind of person who wants to try this meal out on your own before serving it to your family or friends or you just don't have four people to feed.
Luckily, Denny's also offers an individual turkey dinner for customers who are dining in at the restaurant.
While it might not be the homemade dinner your family always makes, at least this way instead of figuring out how long to thaw a turkey for all you have to figure out is if you want the broccoli or the corn.
After all, who wouldn't want to make the holidays just a little bit easier?
