It's Totally Free To Take A Dip At This Natural Turquoise Pool In Colorado

Suns out buns out is our motto, and this swimming hole is no exception. Devil's Punchbowl in Colorado features the perfect turquoise waters ideal for a quick (but cold) dip or a relaxing picnic on the cliffs. You can explore this lush lagoon and feel like you're visiting Neverland.

The pool has some of the best aqua-colored water that you'll find in Colorado, while the sparkling waterfall that feeds it adds an enchanting view.

The Devil's Punchbowl is hidden beneath towering cliff faces that surround the water below. You can hike down from the road leading to the rocks, and feel like you are discovering a hidden world.

The pool is about a 200-foot hike down and gives you an incredible glimpse of the surrounding cliffs.

The water is freezing, so if you decide to brave it, be prepared for a cold alpine blast.

You can bring along a picnic and soak up the sun on the surrounding boulders or swim in the shallow parts of the 'bowl.

The stunning turquoise lagoon makes for the perfect photo ops, and you can bring along some fun floaties or even a paddleboard to wade around.

Just make sure to keep an eye on the rocks above in case someone wants to jump in from higher up.

The area is free to explore and gives you the chance to feel like you're discovering a hidden gem in the Colorado wilderness.

The best time to go is in the summer, so even if you jump in the ice-cold water, you can use the warm sunshine to dry off.

If you visit in the winter, make sure to tread carefully when climbing down the rocks, as they can get icy.

If you need a little adventure or just an afternoon in the sun, spending a day here with some close friends and a delicious picnic will fill your quota.

Beautiful blue waters, a lush waterfall, and great views from the cliffs? We were sold from the word go.
