Every town has that one spot that they are really proud of. For most in Emerald City, it's a fuss-free burger wrapped in foil that even Bill Gates will stand in line to get. We're talking about Dick's burgers in Seattle. Although there's nothing basic about their epic cheeseburgers, they are selling them for only 19 cents each to celebrate 66 years of being in business!
This hot spot first set up shop in Wallingford in 1954. It has since grown to seven locations where their most expensive 1/4 pound beef patties with lettuce, mayo, and pickle relish are only $3.80.
Here's where you can get them:
- Tuesday, January 28th - Broadway & Wallingford
- Wednesday, January 29th - Lake City, Holman Road & Queen Anne
- Thursday, January 30th - Edmonds & Kent
Interestingly, a combo meal of all three would only cost you 51 cents in the 1950s! But you'll have to pay full price if you want the other items on their menu like the hand-cut French fries or their legendary thick shakes.
When an offer is this good, there obviously has to be a catch. And here it is: It's limited to one per customer.
That means you have to be present, queuing up like everyone else to get it. And you can't buy one or four for that late-night snack or for your friends.
It's also only available on the specified dates at the select locations from 10.30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
The iconic Dick's Drive-in has been a landmark in the city. In July 2019, a picture of billionaire Bill Gates standing in line waiting for his burger at the establishment's Wallingford location went viral.

Aptly, Baby Got Back rapper and Seattle native, Sir Mix-a-Lot even used the Capitol Hill location in his song "Posse on Broadway", describing it as a hangout for the rich and cool.
If it were up to us, we'd be hitting each location to make the most of the roll-back prices.
