Not too long ago we let you know that the actor casted as Aladdin in Disney's new live-action remake is proudly Canadian and a Ryerson alum. Since then, we've learned that Naomi Scott will be playing Princess Jasmine, Will Smith will voice the Genie, and Nasim Pedrad has been casted as Mara, Princess Jasmine's handmaiden.
However, we've FINALLY got the tea on who will be playing our favourite Arabian villain, Jafar and we must say, we are NOT disappointed. It was announced earlier this week that Marwan Kenzari, a Dutch-Tunisian actor, has just landed the role and let's just say that evil has never looked so good.
You might recognize him from some of his most recent movies Ben-Hur, The Promise, and this summer’s The Mummy. He’ll also be appearing in Kenneth Branagh’s new adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express this coming winter.
There's no denying that Marwan is HOT and he's making the internet thirsty.

This is Marwan Kenzari - the actor who will be portraying Jafar in the new "Aladdin" movie directed by Guy Ritchi🙌 and I'm pretty much happy with the cast choice they made😊😁👏 I only worry about the script, hopefully it will be as great😃 PS I always worry about Jafar since he's my favorite Disney villain☺ and that's why this cast choice is such a big deal to me, now I worry less☺ #jafar #marwankenzari #guyritchie #aladdin

While you're at it, feel free to drool over his Men's Health video of Marwan doing 'Wolf Traning'... whatever that means:
Good work with the casting Disney, I think it's safe to say we all approve.
