By now it seems like absolutely everyone has a Disney+ subscription and are slowly working their way through the titles, new and old. A huge feature of the new streaming platform is that it followed suit of Netflix Originals and is creating their own content for viewers who want a little more than classic shows from our childhood. Luckily the Disney+ new content in 2020 will introduce tons of series and movies.

Everything listed in this article came from What's On Disney Plus. According to the blog, there are over 20 originals that have been confirmed by Disney already. There's also more unannounced projects that we can expect in the future too.

Though the blog doesn't have any official release dates, all of the new content will be hitting Disney+ in the next 12 months.

Diary of a Female President is a series starring Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez as Elena, a young girl with the dream of becoming president of the United States. Tess Romero will play her as a child.

Monsters At Work is a spin-off series based on Monsters, Inc. following the characters we already know and love, Sulley and Mike. We'll also be introduced to Tylor Tuskmon (voiced by Ben Feldman) who is a mechanic hoping to follow in the footsteps of his two idols.

Love, Simon is another spin-off series based on the incredibly successful 2018 movie of the same name. Though none of the same characters will reprise their role, the story will follow a boy named Victor navigating his identity and sexuality who calls to Simon for help.

Dolphin Reef by Disney Nature is a film narrated by Natalie Portman and will follow the life of a bottlenose dolphin named Echo as he navigates through the sea world underwater.

Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2 will do exactly what it sounds like: take you into the creation of the sequel to Frozen. The documentary will have multiple episodes that show the creativity and effort every cast and crew member put into the film.

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings is another series for documentary lovers which follows couples who get engaged and married at Walt Disney theme parks.

Lamp Life will be a short film following Bo Peep who appeared in Toy Story 4 but has been missing after her appearance in Toy Story 2 and we'll finally get answers about why.

There are tons of more content coming next year according to What's On Disney Plus. Other series titles include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Be Our Chef, and Muppets Now.

Documentary buffs can also look forward to Howard, Marvel’s 616, and Magic of Animal Kingdom.
