It truly seems like Disney+ will be making the most out of their $7.99 monthly subscriptions, proving to Netflix that there isn't any immediate need to double their prices. Last week Disney unveiled their plan to have their new streaming platform role out in Canada on November 12th along with a massive list of what would be streaming on Disney+.

And when you sign up, you can a Disney+ Canada trial free for the first 7 days!

This weekend at their D23 Expo, they added to that list and gave us some first looks at programs that were originally announced. Here are all the Disney Plus shows that were announced this weekend.

Lizzie McGuire 

One of Disney Channel's most memorable series will be returning to the platform 15 years after its last episode. At D23, Hilary Duff announced her return to Lizzie McGuire who will now be a 30-year-old adult living in New York City.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe

While Phineas and Ferb is a fairly new Disney creation it's popularity has justified the new movie they'll be getting on Disney+. The movie will follow the brothers on their mission to save Candace from aliens.

The Muppets 

The Muppets have been around for a really long time and Disney has no plans to stop airing them. The show will be unscripted and feature many celebrity special guests!

Ms. Marvel 

There was news a few months back that Mindy Kaling could potentially be involved in bringing the first Pakastani superhero, Kamala Khan to the big screen. While there hasn't been any Mindy Kaling news, there will be a live-action show and the character of Ms. Marvel will appear in the MCU.

Obi-Wan Kenobi 

Ewan McGregor will also be reprising his past role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. There isn't much news about the new series but it will be centered around his character. The movie also takes place 8 years after Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Apart from all the new content announcements, trailers for upcoming shows and movies that will be on Disney+ were also released!

The Mandalorian

The trailer for Disney's live-action star was series was released at D23! The series takes place between the fall of the Empire and the emergence of the First Order.


Disney+ also released the trailer for their upcoming Christmas movie Noelle starring Anna Kendrick!

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 

One of the most anticipated series also got their trailer. Highschool Musical: The Musical: The Series trailer gave us our first look at the real students of East High.


Another musical-themed show got their first look. Kristen Bell is bringing back her show Encore! this time on Disney+.

The World According To Jeff Goldblum 

People are also buzzing about the first look at Jeff Goldblum's new docu-series that will have him teaching lessons on people, history, and science.
