Disneyland’s Magical Festival of Holidays Is Kicking Off At California Adventure This Week

The most magical time of the year is coming to Disneyland in just three days. Mickey and friends will be dancing in the streets when the magical Festival of Holidays begins at Disneyland on November 8.

The festival debuts this Friday at Disney’s California Adventure Park and both parks will be decked out for the holidays through January 6, 2020.

To start the festivities, Disney and Pixar characters dance through the streets in a blast of color and Christmas cheer.

According to The Orange County Register, the annual Anaheim park festival also recognizes Hanukkah, Kwanza, Diwali, and other holidays this season.

Mickey’s Happy Holidays performance will feature appearances from some favorite Disney and Pixar characters, including Minnie, Goofy, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, Frozone, Woody, Jessie, Bo Peep, and more. Guests can watch the performance twice a day in Paradise Gardens Park and Carthay Circle.

All of the characters will be dressed up in adorable themed costumes for the season. And the Christmas music is sure to put a smile on everyone's faces.

There are so many activities to explore during the holiday season. Some fun themed events at the Disneyland parks also include the change to Sleeping Beauty’s famous castle and the Haunted Mansion Holiday.

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will get an incredible holiday makeover. The entire castle will be covered in icicles, wreaths, and Christmas decor. Every evening, it will shimmer and sparkle under the night sky. Small World is also adorable during the holiday season.

There are also amazing parades and light shows to see. World of Color: Season of Light is a jaw-dropping show that lights up the entire park in a nighttime spectacular where your favorite childhood characters come to life!

A magical Christmas Fantasy Parade also brings marching wooden soldiers and dancing gingerbread cookies down Main Street in Disneyland. The park has so many fun activities to see and do this year.

Can’t get enough of all things Disney? There is also a new Star Wars ride set to come to the parks next January. Mark your calendars.
