Donald Trump's Nickelback Tweet Is Making The Band More Popular Than Ever

What a strange world.
Nickelback Trump Tweet

You may have never thought that you'd see Donald Trump using Nickelback's song in a tweet, but here we are. While the two things usually wouldn't collide, the situation that happened is pretty hilarious. Right now, there are impeachment proceedings happening against the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Even though he sticks by the fact that he has done nothing wrong, he has still managed to justify his actions by using an edited photo of Joe Biden and Nickelback

In the since-reported tweet, Donald Trump posted a video with the caption, "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH!" where you can see Chad Kroeger holding up a picture frame from the "Photograph" song music video. However, it wasn't the original photo in the picture frame.

The frame was edited to show Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a Ukrainian gas company executive. The tweet and video were in response to the Democrats urge to launch an investigation into Trump's phone call with Ukraine's President.

As you can see from the tweet above, the video was taken down due to copyright. And by who? None other than Nickelback, the band who owns the song. "Photograph" by Nickelback is an iconic song that Canadians know and love. The Canadian band never publicly spoke about this, but a Twitter spokeswoman said the removal responded "to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a copyright owner or their authorized representatives".

Since the removal of the video Nickelback's music, specifically the song "Photograph", has spiked 500% in music streams. Within just one week of the now-famous tweet, the streams were up by 569% exactly.

However, in response to Trump tweeting a Nickelback video, some fans think that in itself should be an "impeachable offence".

Nickelback's "Photograph" music video on YouTube has 180 million views, which is a lot. If you look now, you'll see so many comments saying, "Who else is here because of Trump?" If you aren't there because of Trump, then you can just listen to the underrated song below.
