If you haven't already heard the news, rumours have been flying around that The Office may be removed from Netflix once NBC gets its own streaming service up and running in 2020. While this news has been absolutely devastating for a lot of us, there is a glimmer of hope. It was just announced that Steve Carrell has a new show coming to Netflix!

We don't have an official trailer for the new series yet, but from what we know so far it's called Space Force, and it's about a division of the United States Armed Forces who have been tasked with "defending satellites from attack and other space-related tasks... or something". Is it just me, or is this starting to sound like a Dunder-Mifflin type workplace?
The series is brought to us by the creators of The Office, and will star none other than Steve Carrell himself. We've been denied a re-vamp of The Office many times before, but here's to hoping we'll see a few cameos of all our favourite actors on Space Force.
We haven't been given an official release date yet, but Netflix has promised us that the new series will be coming soon. In the meantime, be sure to get your money's worth and binge-watch The Office as much as you can!
