The trail was created in 2016 as a way to help people discover the best bites in Richmond.

The Richmond Tourism Board told Narcity in an email, "Whether you're looking for Japanese gyozas, Shanghainese Xiao Long Bao, Vietnamese Banh Bot Loc, some delectable dim sum dumplings, or looking for some of the biggest and juiciest wontons...you'll find it on the Dumpling Trail."

The stops on the route vary from tiny food court stalls to gorgeous restaurants. Which means there is something for every budget including plenty of cheap eats.

For the best experience, it is a good idea to go with a group of friends. This way, all of you can share a bite from each of the many stops on the food trail
