Alberta is about to become uncharacteristically green this December when a cult-favourite all-matcha cafe touches down in Calgary for the first time ever. Tsujiri is a Japanese brand that's been in the matcha business for 158 years. They announced their new location and according to their Instagram stories, their planned opening date is Sunday, December 8. Calgary's matcha cafe is going to paint the town green.
That means you could get your hands on theirsoon and it's a surprisingly refreshing twist on your typical holiday treats. Plus, the bright green colour is so festive.
Their menu has high-quality teas, matcha lattes and matcha cappuccinos that are the perfect warming pick-me-up on a cold day.
Plus, their matcha shaved ice, parfaits, floats and ice cream are the ultimate decadent matcha treat. It's a good alternative if you're tired of your standard bubble tea, too.
Expect light-as-air matcha desserts like cream puffs, mochi, cheesecakes and layered crepe cakes on their menu, too.

All of their matcha is sourced directly from Japan and grown on farms in the Uji and Yame regions.
