It's pancake heaven! 🥞
Even though they just opened last summer, INCHA Tea House is one of the cutest and tastiest places to go for bubble tea in YYC. Now, they have a new experience that will let you eat a cloud. Well, almost. Calgary's new soufflé pancake spot is the closest we can get to tasting heaven.
Fromthat will make your dentist cringe to the most incredible in Canada, Calgary is spoiled for choice when it comes do dessert.
One sweet trend that's starting to really take hold in the city is soufflé pancakes. These treats have a crazy feather-light texture that basically feels like you're eating a cloud.
Thesearen't on the breakfast menu, though. In fact, at Incha, they're only served late in the day between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
When we say "pancake," we're using the term lightly here because there's hardly any similarity between the Western-style you'd expect to get atand these fluffy Japanese-style soufflé version.
Once you get a taste for it, you'll never stop craving them. When you eat it, it's weird lifting up your fork with a perfect bite on it but it feels like there's nothing there.
Their Brown Sugar flavour is topped with those classic bubble tea pearls cooked in brown sugar.
The texture combo between the dense and chewy pearls and the light fluffy pancake is wild and it's the best dessert you've never tried. If you know, you know.
Even if you're not into bubble tea, they have other flavours you'll love. Their mixed berry set has a fruity whipped macchiato topping
Right now they're serving up mixed berry, chocolate and brown sugar.
Even though you will want to go there for the pancakes, you'll probably end up getting a tea, too.
They have all your standards like milk teas and matcha lattes, but they also have a brown sugar series, pudding milk tea and oat milk tea.
