It's the most wonderful time of the year when we can all indulge in freshly-made, sweet baked goods. Typically, the standard treats for the holiday season are sugar cookies or gingerbread men, but these Christmas macarons in Canada are so cute that you might want to skip the less adorable goodies.

This winter, there's no shortage of incredible holiday activities and foods you'll want to enjoy in Canada. From joining IKEA's Christmas Feast to warming up with a decadent hot chocolate, or even building a delectable log cabin out of Kit Katsthe next few weeks promise to be delicious.

Some treats you need to try are the festive macarons from Filigree Patisserie, an establishment based in Edmonton, Alberta that also ships Canada-wide. They make the most adorable desserts that are so Instagrammable.

Each year, the bakery offers unique creations for major holidays like Halloween, Easter, and Valentine's Day. Now that their Christmas-themed macarons are available, we can't wait to devour them all.

Currently, Filigree Patisserie is offering macarons in flavours with Christmassy designs, like Rudolph (gingersnap), Santa (turtle), snowmen (salted butter caramel), Christmas tree (maple chai) and candy cane swirl (peppermint). These will definitely put you in the holiday spirit.

The macarons come in a gift box of five for $18. Inside, there's one of each design, which is excellent news because this means you can enjoy every flavour.

You can purchase these holiday macarons in Alberta, at the Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market in Calgary from November 22 to 24, the All Things Pretty Christmas Market in Red Deer from November 29 to 30, or the St. Albert Christmas Market on December 7, 14 and 21.

If you can't make it out to one of those holiday markets, you can purchase the macarons at Euphoria Cafe in Calgary as of December 2019. Or, you can contact Filigree Patisserie directly to schedule a delivery.
