Nothing says Oktoberfest quite like beer and sausage, and now, you can have both in one mouthful! Along with a range of other new menu items, Bingemans Oktoberfest 2019 will feature a Waterloo beer-infused bratwurst, and honestly, we are drooling already. As if there wasn't enough ale at the festival, even the donuts will be glazed with beer!

This year's festival is set to kick off on Oct. 11 and will feature boozy German-style eats, axe throwing, live entertainment, tons of brews, dancing, and more.

Events will be held through until Oct. 19 and you won't want to miss any of the fun!

Particularly considering that this year, as media relations coordinator Kaley Stewart tells Narcity, there will be a variety of new food items on the menu.

Stewart says everyone's favourite menu item is usually the classic sausage and schnitzel on a bun. But if you're a little more daring, there are some crazier items available.

You can try things like pigtails, beer-braised pork knuckles, pigtail mac n' cheese balls, pigtail egg rolls, and so much more at the 2019 fest, Stewart says.

In particular, beer-infused sausages will be available in a limited quantity beginning on Oct. 12. Moving onto dessert? Have no fear, you can get your hands on beer-glazed donuts!

President and CEO of Waterloo Brewing Company, George Croft, explains in a press release that this special new pairing is just one of many to come.

"One of the most prevalent experiences during the Oktoberfest season is pairing delicious seasonal food with great beer," says Croft. "When this opportunity was presented, we immediately knew we wanted to be a part of it. This has become a catalyst for other concepts and events where we can feature beer of all kinds with culinary offerings to help invigorate even more aspects of Oktoberfest."

For those who prefer something a little tamer, there will be tasty snacks like beer nuts, traditional pretzels, perogies, and butter tarts too.

And, of course, plenty of brews to go around.

This year's fest will also feature a new theme song! So, you and your BFFs can sing along and enjoy the gemuchlicheit (brotherhood)!
