If you ever been in the city after a night out and been desperate for some kind of late-night healthy, plant-based, vegan food option, we've got the place for you. Copper Branch just announced that two of its locations are becoming late-night Toronto vegan restaurants and will now stay open past midnight all seven days a week. That means your search for the perfect falafel wrap at 1 a.m. is over.
Copper Branch is a Montreal-based restaurant chain that offers healthy, plant-based, vegan food items at a fast pace. Now, two of its Toronto venues are staying open late to service revellers or night workers out in the city who want those plant-based and vegan options.
"Customers looking for a healthy, late-night meal have a plant-based option now accessible to them in which our full menu is served," Andrew Infantino, director of marketing for Copper Branch, told Narcity.
And there are lots of options. The location at Bathurst and College is open until 2 a.m. every day of the week, while the location at Yonge and Sheppard is open Thursday to Saturday until 2 a.m. and Sunday to Wednesday until 1 a.m.
The menu includes power bowls, sandwiches, soups, burgers, all-day breakfast, and even dessert.
Copper Branch calls itself the largest plant-based restaurant chain in the world, with over 60 restaurants worldwide. And the company trusts that the late-night option will only be a benefit.
In particular, Infantino stresses that longer hours work best for customers.
"In the markets that allow - and downtown Toronto is definitely one of those markets - Copper Branch tries to extend our hours as much as possible," he said.
Why should you make Copper Branch your new late-night choice? Infantino could give you a few reasons.
"Our menu is health-focus, 100 percent plant-based, non-GMO, and absolutely delicious," he said. "Copper Branch in general offers whole foods [that] as a late-night option won't leave you feeling bloated and tired, rather energized and satisfied."
Toronto's late-night Copper Branch locations are at 410 Bathurst St. and in the Sheppard Centre at 4841 Yonge St.
And keep an eye out, because the restaurant chain is looking to expand its late-night hours to more locations!
