We love a food item that is so huge or wildly inventive it makes people stop in their tracks. There's a breakfast spot in Arizona that creates some of the best pancakes near Phoenix, and we think they might actually be the biggest pancakes in the entire state.
The Henhouse is known for its solid and diverse menu of breakfast items. From omelets to chicken fried everything, to an entire "south of the border" section, it's easy to find something to love.
The real star of the show is from the griddle, though. Mom's Pancakes are enormous pancakes that come with the warning: may cause drowsiness.
These huge cakes even have their own plates (more like platters) because they're so mind-blowingly big.
The Henhouse told Narcity that these 18-inch pancakes are "about the size of an extra-large pizza."
Each order comes with two pancakes and you can consume both for only $15. You can even add blueberries for an additional charge.
Narcity was also told that in one waitress' eight years of serving, she's only seen the pancakes completely finished by a single person once. Challenge accepted!
Even if you share it, it's basically an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. And when it's this cheap, why wouldn't you stop in with a few friends to split this massive cake?
Seriously, they are not messing around with their breakfast. We guarantee you won't leave hungry after ordering this.
We don't know about you, but we're craving pancakes right about now. They just look so fluffy.
They also have a short stack option if you're not feeling quite up to the task of the pizza-sized option. Or there's a lemon blueberry mascarpone pancake if you want something a little fancier.
All we want is someone to look at us the way this guy is looking at his giant pancakes. Until then though, order up!
