Originally a gift to the town of Boulder, which is Dushanbe's sister city, it was eventually taken apart before being shipped to Colorado, where it was rebuilt.

The website notes it was sent overseas in crates and reconstructed as "a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration."

It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, and it offers delicious refreshments to enjoy while you gawk at the elaborate decor.
