Whether you love sweets or not, there's a magical place in Florida that would make Willy Wonka himself jealous. Sweet Pete's Candy is the Jacksonville chocolate factory that offers the sweetest tours.

Sweet Pete's candy is a hand-made candy factory located in a whimsically decorated historic mansion. This candy mansion is more than just a candy store - it's an experience.

The confectionary emporium offers a wide selection of gourmet chocolates and candies in a 23,000 square foot space that makes it one of the largest candy shops in the United States. From head-sized lollipops to handmade chocolate bars, the sweet factory specialized in candy making and fun activities for families.

Sweet Pete's has a toy shop and offers activities such as candy classes, birthday parties, camps, field trips, and more.

There is an on-site ice cream shop, a room filled with perfectly arranged candies, and a tour that takes you behind-the-scenes of the candy making process - just don't chew the dessert bubblegum, we know how that ends.

The tour costs $5 and it offers visitors a glance at the packaging room, the caramel wrapping machine, the candy production facility and a history tour through the mansion.

The tour is called My Bar My Way and it includes a personalized chocolate bar with your chosen ingredients.

This mansion is probably one of the sweetest places on earth where you can shop for distinctive candy such as pretzel clusters, sea salt caramel popcorn, hand pulled lollipops, and chocolate dipped sandwiches. Besides serving candy, the retail store sells Totally Gross Sodas such as Kitty Piddle, Monster Mucus and even Bacon Soda.

Each floor offers different rooms and experiences from Retro Candy rooms to Pete's Creamery and Fine Chocolates. Visiting this place will definitely give you a sugar-filled day.
