Spaghetti & Meatball Pizza Is Actually A Thing At A Place In South Florida
The world of nearly endless pizza toppings, some of them are admittedly very out of the ordinary. How would you feel if we told you that there is a pizzeria that sells taco, sushi, and spaghetti & meatballs pizza in South Florida? Well, Mora Pizza in Miami has some of the weirdest pizza in town, and all of the ingredients are plant-based.
The innovative pizza shop opened last summer in Wynwood and has caused a sensation among the city's vegan community (and also among carnivores). Their pies are loaded with delicious carb ingredients that we usually don't see on a 'za.
Like many food businesses, this pizzeria owned by Jon Mora started as a food truck showing up at festivals and events in the city. It was more a van, whose colors were similar to the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine. Yes, that hit right on your childhood.
Over time they open their first shop and began selling their all-vegan delicacies indoors. The menu consists essentially of New York-style pizzas and you can find regular or giant size pizzas (2-foot-long pieces). They also have wraps, subs, hot dogs, stromboli and calzones.
Flavors include those we all love as "chicken" BBQ, sushi, quesadilla, takis, cheeseburger or potatoes with cheese. A special mention for the cheesy garlic knot pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs pizza, with marinara sauce and vegan meatballs made out of chickpeas.
The pizzeria does not forget about dessert lovers. They also can have extraordinary creations such as a vegan cheese pizza with cereal, orange vegan cheesecake with a brownie top, homemade waffles with blackberry sauce or the cookie monster pizza. Yes, carbs and sugar overdose because, why not?
In addition to its crazy creations, the restaurant offers a typical Wynwood atmosphere, relaxed, and with murals and a lot of color as a backdrop. Without a doubt, this place is a paradise for vegans, but if you are not, we assure you that you will enjoy absolutely everything anyway.
