Ahh, sweets. Whether it's creamy ice cream or a warm melty baked good, there's something about them that brings us joy. Plants essentially do the same thing, bringing a pop of green happiness to any plain space. This bakery in Orlando takes the best of both worlds and mashes them together — with adorable edible succulent flower pots.
Located off of East South Street, Valhalla Bakery crafts delicious and adorable baked goodies to tantalize your taste buds.
You can get a little bit of everything, including specialty cakes, wedding cakes, and cookies here, but it's these flower pots that really take the cake.
Made with a single layer of chocolate or vanilla cake, they stuff it with a chocolate filling to make it extra special. Then, they top it all off with either a crumbly gram crust or crushed Oreos (and who doesn't love Oreos?), piping perfect little plants in various colors and styles to sit atop the cookie dirt.
Head Cake Decorator Jullz Webster told Narcity that they try to keep the edible planters in stock every day, but it all depends on the availability of the little pots the cakes come in.
Each two-inch flowerpot runs for $7.
If they don't happen to have them in stock when you visit, you can also order them in a minimum count of six — with your choice of chocolate, vanilla, or a mix of both in your box for $48. The colors and plant design will vary.
They're so stinkin' cute, you almost wouldn't want to eat them! The succulent cakes would be perfect for a little flower-themed tea party with your BFFs, or just order them as a sweet treat for yourself. Either way, we won't judge!
The other sugary bites that Valhalla offers are just as beautiful too. Their Instagram feed is full of colorful and creative cakes and cookies; and the craziest part? All of their offerings are egg-free, dairy-free, and vegan-friendly.
While we wouldn't have guessed that these sweet concoctions were vegan, that arguably makes enjoying a treat here all the better — guilt-free, and equally delicious.
