Food connoisseurs and lovers alike know that Florida isn't just a place for good seafood. In the Sunshine State, you can find the most authentic and affordable food from a variety of Asian countries, from Thai, to Filipino, to Japanese, and Chinese. One of the most popular dishes by far is pho, and at Tasty Pho near Tampa, they have the ultimate food challenge.

Appropriately called "What The Pho Challenge", if you can conquer a giant bowl of pho in one sitting, you can be dubbed The Pho King!

Before you grab your bib and chopsticks, you’ll want to the details: 2lbs of noodles, 2lbs of meat, a separate plate of veggies, AND all of the broth. Still game? Read on.

Pho doesn’t actually refer to the soup itself, but specifically the noodles, and yes, no matter which way you slice it, it is pronounced “fuh.” Tasty Pho has been serving the best Vietnamese food on the Gulf Coast for years.

As a family-run business, the people at Tasty Pho take their food seriously, and are truly passionate about bringing the freshest and most authentic Vietnamese food to Florida.

As for the What The Pho Challenge, if you’re interested in taking part, you’ll need to call the restaurant ahead of time, as it takes time to prepare for such an occasion!

You’ll probably want that time to prepare, too. You know, mentally and emotionally.

If you succeed in conquering the giant bowl in under 30 minutes—no bathroom breaks!—you get the meal for free, and your photo will displayed on the Wall of Fame, plus a $20 gift card.

If you lose, well, you’ll be paying $20 for the meal, plus a certificate that brands you a failure of the challenge.

May the best man or woman win!
