There's A Massive FREE French Fry Fest Happening Next Month Near Tampa
It's all about "fries before guys" this Valentine's Day Weekend. You can go to a free french fry festival in Florida next month and devour tasty eats. The 4th annual fest will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020, and Saturday, February 15, 2020, in St. Petersburg.
The event will take place at North Straub Park in St. Pete, just a half-hour away from Tampa. The festivities will run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
The fest is being hosted by the Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association. This year, participating food trucks include Asian Variety, Cajun Cuisine Food, I Wanna Wok, Casablanca Fusion, Fiesta Bowls and Wings n Things. For a full list of vendors, check here.
There will be more to eat than just fries. Food vendors will also serve items from their usual menus. Or, you can try something sweet at one of the dessert trucks, like Chiefs Chill Out, Churroland Sweets, Craving Donuts, Funnel Vision, and Glorious Pies.
You can also check out craft vendors like Badass Baubles and Things, Everything must Glow, JolArt, and Rescue Me Pet Bakery at the festival. Live entertainment will be provided by DJ Paul Cook on Friday and by the Screamin' Donkeys on Saturday.
If you need a cocktail to pair with your feast, there will be alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the event. You can sip your favorite drink while you take in the waterfront views at North Straub Park.
The French Fry Festival is pet-friendly, so bring your furry best friend along for the ride and a chippy or two. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic chairs and blankets for a perfect day in the park.
