Living in paradise is oh so sweet — especially when year-round nice weather makes it a little more acceptable to have ice cream every day of the week. As if we needed another excuse for a cheat day, Little Midway officially opened their dessert parlor on Monday, and our sweet tooth is lookin' to be satisfied.
The little shop of sugar officially opened on Aug. 26, taking over where Chocolate Pi used to be on the ground floor of the Epicurean Hotel. Their menu's colorful creations come in many mouthwatering forms, from ice creams to pastries, brownies, cheesecakes, cakes, and much much more.
Their ice cream selection is pretty unique, with flavors like "Apple Pie" made with a caramel apple pie filling swirled into cinnamon ice cream or the Berns Original: "Macadamia Nut" — a macadamia nut ice cream with crushed macadamia nuts. You can even get ice cream waffle sandwiches with your choice of ice cream, sundaes, malts, and milkshakes.
We're scheduling a cheat day — we deserve it!
Other flavors on their menu include Coffee, Blueberry Lemon Swirl, Pineapple Upside Down, Strawberry, Vanilla Bean, Dark Chocolate, and a dairy-free option, Vanilla Coconut. You can also customize your cream with a variety of toppings — they even have pints you can take home for your next Netflix sesh in a few select flavors.
We're eying the Confetti Cookie Sandwich, made with sprinkle cookies and a raspberry filling; they even have their homemade version of an Oatmeal Creampie that takes the holdable treat up a notch.
The best part? Their desserts are made from scratch with local, high-quality ingredients. According to their website, their menu will constantly rotate, offering a fresh experience each time you visit.
Whether you want a quick treat to eat at their adorable shop or want to take something home, as their website says — everything you have is sprinkled with love. After all, life is better with sprinkles.
