As the weekend rolls in, we're already starting to plan for a lil' pow-wow with our BFFs. Do we go to the beach and try to take advantage of the sunshine, or go grab a drink and catch up? You can do both as you sip your cocktails seaside at O'Leary's Tiki Bar & Grill.
This little slice of paradise is in Sarasota, nestled among the trees near Bayfront Park. It feels super secluded and private despite being so close to the main road that runs along the coast.
You can sit right on their little slice of beach right on the Sarasota Bay, getting some of the most stunning views as the water shimmers or the sunsets. Grab a tropical drink and you'll feel like you've taken yourself on a little tropical escape.
If you like a little shade, you can sit under the tiki huts. We recommend sitting on the side so you can still get that view.
Of course, no weekend drink night with your friends is complete without delicious classic bar food bites like burgers, tenders, and fries - but Oleary's offers some pretty delicious seafood options too. Try breaded fried gator bites, or go fishin' with the Mahi Sandwich. They even serve breakfast food if you need a peaceful spot to stop and grab breakfast before you head to work.
You could even make your visit a whole weekend date escape since you're super close to the beautiful floral oasis at Marie Selbie Botanical Gardens; or if you're willing to drive a little bit, The Sarasota Jungle Gardens aren't very far and give some seriously gorgeous jungle vibes. Then head to Oleary's Tiki Bar & Grill with your boo, grab some booze, and soak up those views.
