Warmer weather is here to stay and in rolls the season of all the best festivals Florida has to offer. Beer and tacos - it doesn't get much better than that...or does it? St. Petersburg, Florida is hosting an epic taco and beer fiesta this month, and the first 300 guests get a free sombrero - Arriba!
St. Pete will be hosting their 3rd Annual Taco and Beer Fiesta this month on Friday, May 17. This foodie festival currently features a line up of 20 gourmet food trucks, all serving South American inspired dishes, as well as their own usual and unique menus; the Facebook page for the event says there are even more trucks to be announced too. This fiesta is shaking up to be a huge event - and the best part: admission is free.
The list of 20 food trucks includes a wide range of places and food options, so there will be something for every type of pallet here - including those with a sweet tooth. A few names you'll see at the event include Mission Taco, Vanchetta, Got Lobstah, Just Smokin' BBQ, Gyros and Heroes, Churroland Sweets (who happen to have Nutella Churros!), and Softee the King. All trucks will accept cash as well as credit cards if you prefer to not carry cash on you.
To top off the entire event (and your head) you'll get a free festive sombrero if you're one of the first 300 guests to show up! The event will also feature live music by the water, alcoholic beverages for purchase, and a children's playground. You're also free to bring your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets if desired and can even bring along Sparky to this pet-friendly event - all enjoyed in your cute sombrero.
The 3rd Annual St. Pete Beer and Taco Festival will be located at Albert Whitted Park, located
480 Bayshore Dr SE Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. You'll be able to sip some brews and crunch on tacos from 6 pm to 11 pm on Friday, May 17th.
