Atlanta, one of the most delicious foodie cities in the country, is crawling with mouthwatering goodies from all the over the world. We know some super tasty hot spots to make your Atlanta foodie dreams come true; and many of those are the newbies in town. This new unique eatery in Atlanta fuses Cajun and Tex-Mex for a spicy, flavorful adventure for your palette.
Dos Bocas, located in the heart of the Centennial Park District, will be rolling out the red carpet for you (and your tastebuds) next week on Sept. 17. The new Louisiana and Texas-style cuisine is inspired by the mouthwatering street food and locally-owned eateries that expand from New Orleans to San Antonio, bringing us Dos Bocas, which literally translates to "Two Mouths."
You can expect to see uniquely authentic offerings like seafood campechana, a massive cocktail of seafood and Mexican salsas typically served in a gigantic margarita-style glass. Your stomach will also be begging you to try housemade enchiladas, jambalaya and blackened redfish.
They also serve drinks to fit with the restaurant's cultural fusion including NOLA's famous hurricane cocktail, an extra boozy and super sweet swirl of passion fruit, lemon juice and three types of rum.
And what's a Tex-Mex spot without margs? Sip on (or chug) the "Lonestar Margarita" made with Dos Bocas Double Barrel Herradura Reposada.
The 8,000-square-foot building embodies a relaxed, modern-rustic environment with distressed wood and warm lighting. The first story has an intimate cocktail bar (perfect for date night) while the upstairs offers a wrap-around porch overlooking the beautiful Centennial Park for a more relaxed space to enjoy your rum or tequila cocktails.
We know we made you hungry, but save your appetite for the grand opening on Sept. 17 for unique southern mexican food with a twist.
