The brand new spot, a subsidiary of its full service restaurant in Morningside, just opened up at yesterday and it's the first of its kind at the food hall.
The modern rustic aesthetic and wall of spices will instantly draw you to the counter to see what's cooking.
The passion is definitely evident. In an interview with What Now Atlanta, owner and chef Anish Nair says that he plans to travel to different regions of India every few months to draw inspiration from street food in each region.
The authentic street-food style menu offers delicious and unique selections like semma kati rolls, tandoori shrimp salad, alsa mall bread omelettes and crispy eggplant tangy chaat.
We think the real winner lies in the scrumptious smoked gouda chicken nan-which (chicken breast marinated with Indian spices, mango chutney, onions, gouda cheese and lettuce).
Traditional entrees like chicken tikka masala and saag paneer are available as well. You can also two types of naan or aloo paratha stuffed with potatoes.
You can pair any meal with traditional beverages like masala chai or lassi made with real yogurt.
