Going to the same old bars in Buckhead and Midtown every weekend can get pretty boring after awhile. There's nothing better than some childhood nostalgia that takes us back to the worry-free, fun-filled days of the past. It's even better when you can do that while sipping on a boozy drink (or three). This brand new arcade bar in Atlanta coming soon is the perfect nostalgic gamebar to break your average routine.

Press Start is an all-new concept coming to Atlanta's Summerhill neighbrhood next year. The 4,500-square-foot space will transform into a neon-lit game land filled with plenty of classic arcade treasures and bar offering tons of drink varieties.

The '80s and '90 vibes we miss don't have to be a thing of the past any longer. This new vintage hot spot will let you get lost into a pre-decade playing field with games that went down in history including Street Fighter II, X-Men, Mortal Kombat and Pac-Man (side note: a real life Pac-Man pop-up is coming to Atlanta next year).

Take a break between gaming sessions to stop by the bar and enhance your nostalgic thrills with over ten craft cocktails and enough beer and wine options to keep the buzz going.

There will also be additional classic manual games like foosball, darts, shuffleboard and board games. Travel forward to the future with some cool virtual reality games, too.

Take a break and enjoy the fresh air on the rooftop patio with your drinks. You'll also be able to fill up your tummies with yummy Asian-inspired small plates.

Although menu items have not yet been released, you can expect some mouth-watering savory treats because the Press Start founder also owns the delicious Char Korean Bar & Grill

The old school bar-cade and restaurant is expected to open in a few months so expect to join in on the retro fun early next year.

In the meantime, you can switch up your routine right now with another boozy arcade bar in Atlanta. Narcity will publish updates when further details are released.
